What Mat Won't Tell you
The story starts with a young boy by the name of amon kagon who was originally dedicated to the goddess Nhamaa and promised as priest in her service by his parents. However that was not to pass as one summer day when they were in the northern steppe, he was kidnapped by a legion of patrolling Garleans who were far afield from where they were supposed to be.
And that was how amon kagon became Mathias Jaevyn
a lone boy who was sent to the garlean magitek laboratories to be expirimented on -- he became quiet and sullen; perpetually alone. However the scientists discovered in him the goddess' gift which also made him incredibly responsive to primal blood.
In him flows the blood of not one, but two primal beings (the garleans were certainly being ambitious) and for the while he was the Garleans prized weapon-- that was until Celestia and Harken Straughime came in and 'rescued' him. the ensuing chaos caused memory loss of Mat and the first thing he can ever recall is waking up with Celestia at his bedside. everything else is a endless black void-- he has learned not to try to remember because that's when the headaches come.

The easiest one is-- is your character elezen? Well Mat would love to talk to them, he may be a bit on the reserved side but conversation from ANY elezen is never unwanted- He might even be disposed to be a little less grumpy in the conversation-- who can say?
garleans ahoy! do you have a garlean character that would 'recognize' Mat? We could build something along those lines-
Mat has a tattoo of a moon just underneath his ear and on his neck-- it is the mark of a future priest of nhamaa and is tattoo'd at a child's dedication to the goddess- note: this is only viewable if he has his hair up at the moment.

I am not my character, please know the difference between IC and OOC-- any romantic/antagonistic interest from Mathias does not necessarily mean the same interest from myself as a RL person, I am here to potentially advance my characters story, not catch feels of any type from anyone. (but I am totally down for friendship)
